Default [SOLVED] Verison setup and Outlook setup

Could someone please help me set up a zimbra account at a college account with my mobile phone. I need to know what incoming and outgoing servers to use. I can access my email from the internet through

https://mystudentmail.ulm.edu/zimbra

But I do not know about the servers to use to set up my Verison phone to use to access it.

Thanks

This would be a question to ask your university staff about, not the Zimbra forums.

If I had to hazard a guess though I would say that mystudentmail.ulm.edu or mailgw.ulm.edu would probably be your server

I tried pop.mystudentmail.ulm.edu and pop.mailgw.ulm.edu without success. I have not been able to find anyone at the college that has a clue as to what the settings are. I assumed they were ssl 995 and 465 ports with authenication, but have tried it without ssl also.

Why would you add pop.* to the front of the addresses? Neither of those are valid addresses...

I don't know. I guess I was just setting it up like I would in Outlook.

I tried pinging several things and I could ping zimbra.warhawks.com and zimbra.ulm.com, but could not get them to take in my email program.

Ok well after doing a quick search of your universities site (which you should have been able to do yourself!) I found the following information:
Can I access my email on my smartphone? | Computing Center
Which states that currently they only allow HTML access.

Please use the search function... this advice applies pretty much anywhere
