Bug 42947 – outbox doesn't sync with mail for exchange 2.9

I have a Nokia E52 and Zimbra 6.0.5_GA_2213.UBUNTU8, can't send emails either.

I will try updating to the latest Zimbra release soon.

I've been trying to track the Nokia issues here:

Been making RFE's about support for the various models as well. Dev's are trying to work around what I believe is a Nokia issue - that's just my opinion at this point. Dev's have also received various Nokia models to work with as well recently, I believe that the SDK didn't reproduce the issue but they have been able to on the phone/s.

I believe it's a nokia issue too, but I don't have any way to get Nokia to address the issue, apart from complaining in their support forums. I think their response would probably be 'it works in Microsoft Exchange'.

I'm looking forward to the workaround, as we can't buy E51 anymore.

According to entires on Bugzilla this has now been resolved. Can anyone from Zimbra comment on when this will make it into a release? What is the process for rolling fixes to a live state.

It has been 'fixed' but not been through QA.

When it's been through QA you'll see the status of the bug report change, you will also see it on a target release (and the date) on the Product Portal.

Looks like but 42947 is listed as part of the 6.0.8 release targetted for 18th August.

Upgraded to 6.0.8
synced folder list on my nokia E55
now i can send email

I tested 6.0.8 with a nokia E52, after recreating the exchange profile on the phone I was able to send emails.
