Default PIN being forced on Palm Pre

No matter what combination of settings I enable for zimbra mobile, my Palm Pre forces me to enable an unlock PIN after our 6.0.1 upgrade. Is everyone else seeing this, or is there something I'm missing? Anyone have a clue whether this is a Palm issue or a Zimbra issue?

Are you enforcing PIN for the account of the person with the Pre?

I've tried it both with "Enable Mobile Policy" unchecked, and also with "Enable Mobile Policy" checked but "Force pin on device" unchecked. I've removed the zimbra account and re-added it, but in both cases, as soon as I enter my zimbra password, I'm forced to set a PIN.

Hmm... I had my Pre on my 6.0.0 server without having that issue. I don't have it syncing with Zimbra anymore as I'm testing Google Apps Premium with it now.

I actually discovered that it's forcing a PIN on *all* mobile devices (regardless of the Mobile Policy settings). I opened a ticket with Zimbra a few days ago. I'll follow up with the answer whenever they respond to it.

I'm encountering this same issue. Looking forward to your response, peng1can.

This was due to the upgrade going awry and not getting the LDAP schema/values updated correctly. You'll likely need to get zimbra support to help if you're having the same issue.
