Funambol not recognizing Zimbra Connector

I am trying to set up a Funambol server to sync Blackberrys with Zimbra, but I'm running into a pretty basic problem that I haven't been able to find an answer to. I go through all of the steps outlined in the wiki at the link below, but for some reason, it doesn't show as a module in the Admin Tools interface. It shows the Email and Foundation modules, but no Zimbra module. The installation of the connector from the command line seems to happen with no errors, so I have no clue where things could be going wrong. Every other resource I have checked for problems with the Zimbra Connector involves problems after the connector is already successfully installed, so if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

If someone who has some experience with setting up the Funambol connector for Zimbra could offer me any advice, it would be most appreciated. I'm sure it's something small that I'm missing that is causing the Zimbra module not to show up in the Funambol admin interface, but I really don't know what could be missing. Any ideas?

I'm sure this answer doesn't satisfy you. I've exact the same problems. Which version of funambol and connector are you using?

For me just the downgrade to funambol 7.0.6 and 0.5.02 was working. Unfurtunatly the connector isn't updated since 6 months. maybe some compability broken.

I did finally get it working, but I don't know exactly what did it. I scrapped the entire server installation (RHEL 5 64-bit), and reinstalled RHEL 5 32-bit. I downloaded the latest release of Funambol 8 and found the SourceForge repo with the latest version of the Zimbra connector (Browse Funambol Zimbra Connector Files on SourceForge.net). After installing again, it worked and I can now see the Zimbra module in the Admin Tools interface.

Well I have the same issue, and I had made many post to Funambol Forums, but with no luck, my case differs from yours as I use to get some error at the installation of ZimbraConnector.
I used RHEL 5 64 bit, I used ZimbraConnector5.2 (Something like 5. .., Don't really remember) Funambol 8 and (Also tried 7), and zimbra (64 bits) 5.18.When I continuous to fail, I installed the Zimbra 6 (64 bits) and ZimbraConnector 6 and Funambol 8, OS in both deployments were 64 bit RHEL5. But still no Luck, while installation I have following output.I followed all step, which were in the documentation.
Is this issue related to 64 bit & 32 bits?

you could check /opt/Funambol/logs/ds-server/ds-server.log for problems.

I've deployed two funambol 8.x with the new version of the zimbra-funambol connector (0.6.00).

Many thx for the reply, but guess what I also tried on 32 bits OS yesterday, and came out with same result.I followed this document > Open Source Mobile Calendar and Contact Synchronization - Zimbra :: Wiki.
Made the same file as stated in the document i.e. <java version="1.5.0" class="java.beans.XMLDecoder">

I followed the same guide... And when things went wrong I could always see a warning in ds-server.log.
Try to grep that file for "zimbra" and see if there's something which you didn't see at first.

And still getting the following Error.
how can you and I adopt the same configurations and can have different result.
BTW, a part from calender/contact sync, are u also getting real time push via FUNAMBOL?
And please see if some help can be provided for the follwoing error?
