Default zimbra HTML mail shows up blank in Windows Mobile 5

Whenever I send an html formatted message using the zimbra web client to an account on the zimbra server, and then try to view the message via imap using a Windows Mobile 5 device, the message appears blank.

Html messages sent using other clients to zimbra, or sent to other mail servers using the zimbra client show up fine. Its only zimbra to zimbra html messages that don't work.

I saw the thread in Windows Mobile 5 - HTML formatted message
but the issue that thread talks about doesn't seem to be the problem. The /wm hack it mentions is in the latest release, but using it doesn't fix things. Appending /wm to the username does make multipart messages show up as a single part (verified by talking to the zimbra imap server by hand), but has no effect on whether or not the messages display correctly in the Windows Mobile client.

Does anyone have any clues as to what the problem is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

- J

We made some additional changes in the next major release 3.2 which should improve the support of WM5 IMAP and HTML mail. We also will have a beta of Mail support over ActiveSync clients.

Are the WM5 IMAP fixes available in CVS somewhere? Could you tell me what the problem was? I'd like to try to back patch the fixes into the 3.1.2 release so that I have something I can use while waiting for 3.2.

The changes should be in CVS, see this thread and the bug for more info.

It says

"You are not authorized to access bug #6582."

even though I created a bugzilla account.

It's restricted to network customers, due to some of the data having host names etc. If you are a Network customer you may request support give you access to Network bugs.
