Default Similar problem

One of my users is having a similar problem - her iPhone syncs calendar events with the wrong calendar. It's not syncing with her default "Calendar" in Zimbra, but instead syncing with someone else's shared calendar that she subscribed to. When she enters events on the iPhone, she only has the options to enter them on the other person's shared calendar, or "Tasks" - even though her own calendar events are displayed and she can see them if she enters them through the browser.

Hello everyone, I bump this thread because I can't see Zimbra shared calendars on my iPhone. Or better, I used to see them, but one day they disappeared and the same happened on my Mac. In my calendar I have mine and two shared calendars from my colleagues.

The best part is that one of my colleagues has an iPhone and he can see all the shared ones. He has the same exact string in the calDav advanced options.

Has some experienced the same problem? (Zimbra Open Source 6.0.12)

Thanks!

Francesco

Try to avoid special characters in the names. See if that works.

Hello Tripple,

I found the solution. If you activate the option "Delegate to Apple..." in PREFERNCES -> ADDRESS BOOK, you give the option to iCal on Macs to decide who can write on your calendars among the poeple whom you have sjared something with. This advanced feature is not present on iPhones and iPads, so when you activate this option shared calendars simply disappear from mobile devices.

So you just have to keep this option off if you want to see shared calendars on iPhones.
