There's nothing wrong in your setup, I've experienced the very same problem with 5.0.16 (OSS), but got the same configuration working with 5.0.15 (NE).

When it fails, my iPhone's log shows several warnings, among which I think this one should be investigated:
Quote:
CalDAV PROPFIND response parse error at line 13 column 32
I've sniffed the communication between my iPhone and Zimbra, and it looks (smells...) like the second PROPFIND on the shared calendar fails (I think the parsing error happens at that moment). Normal calendars don't make the iPhone issue two PROPFIND commands, only one.

I know basically nothing about CalDAV, but it seems that for a shared calendar, the first PROPFIND response says "it's not a local one"; the following line doesn't appear for a regular calendar:
Quote:
<Y:mountpoint xmlns:Y="http://yahoo.com/ns/"/>
But then a second PROPFIND is sent, and its reply is unparsable.

So what's on line 13?
Quote:
<Y:mountpoint xmlns:Y="http://yahoo.com/ns/"/>

I guess I should file a bug, but I'm afraid I'd be totally unable to explain it properly (see above!).

EDIT: Oh, and BTW, everything worked like a charm in Sunbird with the same setup. Could be an iPhone issue, then, but why does it work with 5.0.15 (NE)?!

Because the 5.0.15 NE calendar you tested against was _mine_ 8)))

Did someone try against a 6.0B2 server?

It works so for on my 5.0.14 FOSS and not seeing any issues. This means if I upgrade the server it might break iPhone sync. Does anyone have the iPhone CalDav sync working for 5.0.16 and higher?

Hi, i have a question about iphone and caldav.

We have a shared account on the zimbra server, holding 3 shared calendars

Connecting iPhone to zimbra using:
https://mailserver.xx.xx/dav/shared_callendar
Wokrs fine, and all 4 calendars is shown on iphone

Now to the problem, i want to use only one of the calendars, like:
https://mailserver.xx.xx/dav/shared_callendar/calendar1
But its not working.

Connection to the calendar using ics is woking , but i want to be able to write to the calendar, (i have permission to write).
But adding this url will not add the calendar in iphone

So question is, can i add only one of the calendars on a account using caldav and iphone?

/bjorn

Try https://mailserver.xx.xx/home/<accountname>/Calendar

However I do not believe that iPhone currently allows writing via CalDAV. At least I've been unable to do so either with my own Calendar or with someone else's that's shared R/W to me.

EDIT: Correction to above: if you set up a CalDAV (not subscription) account in iPhone and just use

Server: servername
username: username; if you have multiple domains and are not using virtual hosts, this would be username@domain

Then you'll see all your calendars under that one account. You might even see any shared calendars which you've accessed through Zimbra (however I haven't been able to get that yet). But you can't look at just one calendar this way. Also, this method has been flakey when I tried it--one time it shows the calendars, another time it shows nothing.

You can write to your CalDAV calendar with this setting on your iPhone:
https://your.server:443/principals/u...unt@server.com

or:
http://your.server/principals/users/...unt@server.com

Yes, but this was not the question.

How do i connect from iphoneusing webdav to just one of 4 calendars on a zimbra account?

Using you´r link will get me all the calendars on that account.

Thanks for the tip, Tripple.

looc, I think you might want to file an RFE in bugzilla.

Well, this kind of exist allready ,
if you in thunderbird/lightning add a calendar to:
https://mailserver.xx.xx/dav/[username]/[calendar]

It works just fine, my question was if anyone know how to do that in iphone, maby it´s not possible and that may be a limitation in iphone.
