Default [SOLVED] Zimbra using BIS problem

Hii,

I have a problem with my zimbra configuration, my blackberry didn't connect to my zimbra mail server.
I gave the right email address and password, but blackberry didn't connect..
Did I lost some configuration in zimbra mail server?
Do you have any idea about the configuration ?

Thanx

If you're using BIS you'd have to make sure that your server has POP or IMAP available. If your server uses POPS or IMAPS then make sure you select SSL when you setup your BIS account. I used BIS a long time ago for an account on my Zimbra server and it worked for me using IMAPS. You'll get quicker mail delivery with BIS if you use IMAP because I believe BIS supports IMAP IDLE now.

You're not giving any information about your problem, how are you trying to connect to the Zimbra server (pop or imap)? Which version of Zimbra are you using? Please update your forum profile (do not post it in this thread) with the output of the following command:

Code:
zmcontrol -v

Thanks for the support, I know the problem. BIS services can't do authentication using SSL.
I changed my configuration to "enable plain text", my blackberry can connect to my email..

Do you have any idea using BIS with ssl authentication ?
