Default My attempt with no luck

I recently attempted to sync' the Tmobile G1 with Zimbra to no avail. Downloaded Touchdown to attempt an exchange sync' and that did not work either.

Any ideas? Is there a timeline for this being available?

Thanks in advance.

Default Did get mine to work

All I had to do was configure the email app on G1 - it was so simple! I just added the SMTP address and IMAP address and it all works as expected

You didn't have to upgrade firmware or mess with any other G1 system settings? Just plugged in those settings and it worked?

I keep getting "unrecognized user or bad password" errors. I know that the username is good and the user swears that the password is correct.

Any thoughts?

Google recently licensed Activesync from Microsoft for use with their Gmail sync offering. I would assume they will also look to build native activesync support into future Andriod offerings.

At this point this is not really a Zimbra issue because Google doesn't have activesync capabilities built into Android. I can't expect Zimbra to test with every third party app for Android that offers EAS capability (I've seen several of them).

Default one more thing

My IMAP and SMTP server is the same
I use port 25 for outgoing and 143 for incoming - username/password had to be entered on both screens (incoming settings and outgoing) and that was it

What about calendar? I have a G1, my company has ZNE. I sync my Google calendar into ZCS, but the only way I can get my Zimbra calendar on the G1 is via the G1's web browser, which is pretty lame in the Zimbra mobile web interface. Any ideas anyone?
