Default Do you install funambol on the same server as zimbra?

Really simple question, but I can't find any clear documentation explaining whether funambol causes conflicts if it's on the same server as zimbra or not. Thanks!

gosborne,

Nope. Install it on its own box. Then connect to the Zimbra server per the developer's instructions. For the most part they're spot on.

I deployed Funambol with the Zimbra Connector a few months ago with the intention to use it mainly for calendar syncing, and maybe with the T-Mobile G1 for syncing once that solution matures.

Overall it works really well. The only problem I found, and which appears to be the same problem all sync solutions battle, is that of handling time zones and offsets.
