Default [SOLVED] Cert Problem using Activesync on Windows Mobile 6

Hi all

I'm trying to set up over-the-air sync on my HTC Touch (Elf) running Windows Mobile 6. I read here, that for an SSL connection the servers certificate needs to be imported manually. Also I'm getting the error, that the server certificate is not valid (0x80072F0D).

I installed the certificate (althogh the instructions for WM6 needs to be updated in the Wiki article) and it appears as a intermediate certificate in my mobiles settings. But that didn't help.

The certificate is a valid certificate from Equifax, but it's a wildcard certificate, valid for *.example.com (in that way ). Could this be the reason, why WM6 refuses to accept this certificate? Is there a workaround?

Thank you for your input,
- Dan
