Default Zimbra and Windows Mobile 6

Hey,

I own an HTC S730 running Windows Mobile 6 (5.20).

I just setup the activesync which works fine for what I've seen so far.

The only issue is that I barely use the main inbox folder of the zimbra account.

Instead, I retrieve a bunch of POP accounts in my zimbra account and have those stored in seperate folders by default.

These folders are found and synced by my HTC, but whenever new mail arrives, it is not shown on the regular "today" page on the phone. I actually have to open up the "Outlook Email" folder on the phone, then browse to the folder to see if any new mail has arrived.

Is this an issue with zimbra or with Windows Mobile?

Any clues on how to get around this?

I actually woudn't use activesync for inboxes. Instead I have set-up IMAP access for emails and therefore also having the whole mailbox on my mobile.

This is a feature of the phone I believe in that only the Inbox gets synced from a push or pull. I have exactly the same issue on my iPhone.

Actually, the phone does sync the subfolders, but it doesn't notify me of any new mail outside the main inbox folder.

I searched google and it seems this is a Windows Mobile issue. I am now testing a utility called watchflag, which can help overcome this issue by notifying you of any change to any email folder on the phone.
