I haven't messed with crackberries much, could you tell me how to do that?

He's not hooked up with our BES yet, but will be soon.

I'll get the version number tomorrow. It's not my phone but it is brand new so you would think it has a pretty recent version. We can't even get it to render the login page... :-(

No BES service for us, don't want to pay for that. That's why we were so interested in the /m/ option. It *seems* that our Treo and iPhone folks are ok with using /m/, this is our first Blackberry.

Thanks again.

Here's the software on the curve. Is that what you are looking for?

Platform: 3.1.0.72
App Version: 4.3.0.127 (202)

Thx.

I've done a bit more trial and error and *I think* the issue stems from us using https. I was able to browse the the Zimbra test site and was able to get to the loging screen - there they are just using http.

If you happen to have a blackberry and can browse to a https site, can you shoot me your browser and security settings? Verizon is the carrier if that sheds a bit more light too.

Thx!

Thought I would update my own thread with my solution so anyone else with the same problem doesn't have to burn payroll...

My solution was a simple as downloading and running the Opera mini-browser. Works like a charm and runs the Zimbra webclient without a problem. My Blackberry users prefer to use the Opera browser for everything.

I have a Blackberry 8300 v 4.2.2.114 operated by T-Mobile.

In the security settings, I added my host in the TLS settings, so the Blackberry would accept https-sites.

The phone comes with 2 browsers: the t-zones browser and the blackberry browser. the latter can't find my testserver due to configuration issues (as I'm still in testing phase), but the t-zones browser can display the webclient without problems.

in the browser settings, all checkboxes are checked, emulation mode blackberry...

I like the old interface better especially in the calender view...
