shared address book sync for iphone ?

My iphone 3G's address book, contacts, and email are all successfully syncing to our 5.0.8 zimbra server.

I subscribe (with add/edit/manage/administrate privs) to our company-wide shared address book. It syncs successfully on my thunderbird and other client apps, but NOT to my iphone. In other words, only my personally-entered or imported contacts are currently reflected on my iphone.

As we add more mobile users we want them to be able to link to a common shared address book in addition to their own private contact lists.

Does this feature exist? If not, is it on the roadmap?

we don't sync "shared" addressbook. there's also something called GAL (global addressbook list) search which we haven't implemented but that's planned.

Exchange also does not support syncing to multiple address books, you get your own and the GAL & that's it (afaik)

Whether MS Exchange does it or not, syncing shared address books would be extremely nice. Is there an RFE that I can vote for?

Is this the same for blackberry users? Our company uses NotifyLink; however, we are having problems syncing shared contacts. No matter what list of contacts I import on Zimbra, ONLY 30 contacts get to sync up with the device. I have dealt with Notify Tech Support for months, but they couldn't figure out what is causing it. They even took it to their software engineers and it turns out that it might be Zimbra after all. Can anyone help?

We use Zimbra with NotifyLink and ZCS Outlook Connector. On my iPhone 3G I get two Address books: Contacts shows all my entries while Executives (which is shared from Zimbra) only shows 30. There is nothing more important on the road than having all your contacts.
