Zimbra Mobile Sync with Palm Treo 680 and Versamail 3.5.3

Hello,

since our update of Zimbra to version 5.0.6 i have a user, who uses Zimbra Mobile and where some contacts and some meetings are just ignored when syncing. (contacts and meetings being created on the server are ignored. Items created on the palm are synced properly)

The problem occured the first time directly after the update to 5.0.6.

The user uses his Palm Treo 680 with PalmOS 5.4.9 in conjunction with Versamail 3.5.3. In the sync.log of the server i do not see any error regarding the sync process for that user.

But i also do not find the contacts & meetings in the logfile which where mentioned by the user not to be synced.

Are there other palm users having such troubles with the actual zimbra version?

How to do a complete resync with versamail?

Have you heard anything here?
I too am doing "Exchange" sync Zimbra <-> Palm 680, and seeing that some contacts don't go to the Palm. Private appointments never seem to go on any device.

I had similar problems with my Palm TX. Upgrading past 5.0.6 resolved the issue.

I had nothing but problems with Palm OS and Versamail EAS syncing with Zimbra. I still have two people that are using Palm OS and the only problems I'm currently having is that immediate delivery of mail does not seem to work. I've moved all my other phones with WinMo 6.1 and they all work without any issues. I've offered my Palm OS people new phones, but they don't seem to want to move at this point.... so <sigh> I guess I'll keep waiting.
