Synchronization or Sync to PDA

In general it should work. It's not been tested extensively so we can consider it fully *supported* yet. I don't think the GAL would sync or shared calendars but I've not tested this myself. I've got a PocketPC PDA myself and have been testing out over-the-air sync. It's still in internal beta but it'd super sweet. So I can totally recommend PocketPC as a good device to sync with Zimbra. You'll be able to see for yourself once this is available for public beta.

Is it possible to lookup GAL contact using pocket PC? I tried some options on Treo 700W with not much luck.

I can't locate anything in the documentation, forums or Wiki re: how to synch my Palm Tungsten/C with Zimbra on a PC.

Do you have the Network Edition of Zimbra? What is it you're trying to sync?

We use the Network addition. I want to synch calendar (top priority) and, if possible, contacts.

Does your device have some over-the-air sync facilities? Is it supported by Zimbra NE (have you checked)?

No, it must be hot synced via the PC

Is it a supported device for Zimbra? Does this device sync with an Exchange server? If it does then you enter the same type of setting but point it to your Zimbra server. It's quite likely that you'll only get mail sync if it's not supported.
