Treo 650 doesnt push-sync

I'm testing Zimbra 5.0.3 with a Treo 650 (1.05A + VersaMail 3.5 + ActiveSync patch). Email does not automatically show up ("push"). It will show up if the "sync" button is manually pressed. Treo AutoSync is configured as "When Items Arrive" and the user account has "Zimbra Mobile" checked.

Any ideas why email doesn't push ?

It appears I can answer my own question. The problem is that the software for the Treo 650 is garbage. The Treo 755p with VersaMail 4.07 works great.
