Zimbra Mobile does not sync pictures for the contacts?

Hi,

How is it possbile that the OTA sync for Zimbra does NOT get the pictures for the contacts which are on the server?

Originally I had pictures for contacts on my WM6, then I synced that with Outlook, saved the PST and imported it into Zimbra. On the web frontend I can see the pictures for the contacts, however when I sync to the device they don't appear.

Does anyone know how I can get this working?

contacts photos sync was fixed in 5.0 of ZCO. before that, the photos were not being synced to the zdb.

I am using 5.02 so it should've been fixed right? But it is not synchronizing my pictures. In Outlook I see the pictures also on the web. On the Mobile I don't.

Any ideas?

ok..looks like a zimbra mobile issue. please file an RFE.

I've actually seem similar issues in 5.0.2.

I have one contact with an image in the phone and outlook but not zimbra, one with an image in zimbra but not outlook or the phone!

Most others go through ok though, I'll keep an eye open for the OP to post the bug and add to it if I have anything solid/relevent.

Found the bug or issue - is there a bug # or issue open for this?

Here is how I got the bug to show itself.

1. originally imported PST file and all pics were in address book

2. I updated some contact info for a contact in zimbra web interface - it synced using zimbra mobile to phone and the contact lost its picture on phone but remained in zimbra.

3. I re-added the picture on phone and it came back on phone and remained in zimbra.

4. I updated contact info again in zimbra and it removed the picture again on the phone

So according to the earlier post - it was supposed to have been fixed in 5.0 but now is not supported yet? - ok - Guess i'll just make sure any new pictures added are done so on the phone and if i edit the contact to do it on the phone as well if i want to keep the picture.. Otherwise any changes in ZCS removes the picture..
