I have not tested the other phones... however I will let you know what the outcome is (It should be in the next day or two).

The phone did delete all of the stored email on the phone after unchecking the email sync... so that may have something to do with it

One of our users has just started experiencing the same problem. He had been syncing happily with his Palm Treo 750v but suddenly email stopped syncing with a version of that error:

Default Same problem...

I have a working 5.0.9 server... its been 5.0.9 since about August. This user has been using that server for the whole time. Then suddenly today it had the same sort of error. These kinds of errors really hurt our case for Zimbra. I've seen reports of this type of error back to 4.5 days. I wish call zimbra support wasn't the end of this thread... because it sure would help me right now to know what happened.
