Calendar items from external source does not sycn

I've searched the forums/bugs and not seen this, anyone have more information/ideas?

Process:
Groupwise user sends ical compliant message to me.
shows up in inbox, I accept the appointment
item shows up in my calendar on the webclient (I only have one calendar)
It never syncs (activesync OTA) to my mobile device (WM5).

If I add an item manually to the calendar it syncs right up, if another user on zimbra sends me an appointment and I accept it syncs right up.

I've tested this several times, with the same result, and this is a BIG deal as we are trying to migrate from groupwise to zimbra.

There are 3 possible reasons:

1) the calendar somehow went into a different "folder", not the default Calendar folder. But you seem to suggest you don't have more than one calendar folders, so this may not be the problem.

2) the new calendar item is in the past and falls out of the sync range. Are the meetings sometime in the future or in the past when you sync?

3) an error was encountered while processing the new calendar items, and they are skipped over with warnings in the log.

To debug 3, get a groupwise invite to your mailbox, accept it, do a mobile sync, and send us the sync.log file under /opt/zimbra/log.

I only have one calendar
The appointments are in the future

Here is an image of the webinterface showing 4 appointments, two are created in zimbra, and the two at 9 tomorrow and the next day are accepted from groupwise.
