When using activesync (VZW is service provider) in deleting in-bound mail on Treo, also deletes in Zimbra from Inbox.

Is there a setting to be able to delete on handheld but keep in Zimbra inbox?

We wish to push to handheld, yet keep messages in back-end.

Right now it doesn't work that way. The messages are actually not deleted. You can still find them in the trash folder. I know that's certainly not what you want. You can file a ticket to request a feature like that.
