    Default Any books on Zimbra?

Hello, Sorry for refreshing thread however I didn't find a thread similar to my problem. Could someone tell me some great english(or polish) books about Zimbra? I look forward to learn it however I find extremely difficult to get some good proper materials about it.

Your question has nothing to do with this thread, don't add posts to threads on a different topic. I'll move this post to a new thread.

What's wrong with the Product Documentation or the wiki articles on Zimbra?

There are at least a couple of books available, one from 2007 (out-of-date), and one in the same series from the end of 2013 here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/178328...&pi=SY200_QL40 or a cheaper digital version on Google books.

    Hi,

As the other members sayed, you basically have a couple of options:
    1) Zimbra doucmentation (Administration guide is at least for my, the best "book" out there)
    2) Published books...although I bought one of them in google store and read it in like 3 hours...not that much value for the money and it is something you actually will find in the admin guide and some other posts out there
    3) Taking a course could be an option? They are available on-line now if you don't have trainiers in Poland.

I would recomend, to follow this education roadmap and go as far as you want (I did it all BTW):

    1) Read the official Zimbra documentation. At least the admin guide.
    2) "Play" with the product...try things like installing it and upgrading it
    3) Be an active member in the forums and try to answer things even when you don't know them...that will get you learning (obviously, document before answering and don't shoot to the moon at first...be reasonable)
    4) Take an official Zimbra course
    5) Go deep in each of the components of the Zimbra solution. O'Reilly has lots of great books that will get you a better understanding of the things that are "under the hood", things like:
    - Proper Linux knowledge
    - OpenLDAP
    - Java
    - Perl and Bash scripting
    - Postfix
    - nginx
    - MySQL
    - Ajax
    - HTML/CSS

    6) Be creatie...try to integrate Zimbra with other thins like:
    - CAS
    - Mail Firewalls
    - Distributed File systems
    - PKI
    - Mailman (or other advanced mail list management system)

As you can see...there's soooo much you could learn...it all will depend on how much you want to learn and being aware that "Zimbra" is not something that you are going to learn from reading a book...but as many other things, it will require time and willing to do.

    Regards,
    Sebas
