Exclamation Cannot open old .zdb with 4.5.0

Hi,

On a fresh install of Windows XP Pro and Outlook 2003 (all service packs and patches applied). I then installed the ZimbraConnector:

ZimbraOlkConnector-4.5.0_GA_611_4.5.115.msi

I am trying to add a .zdb file from another user to recover her mail. When I open the Microsoft Mail control panel, and choose 'data files' -> Add... -> Zimbra Delegation Server:

Microsoft MAPI immediately crashes with the following error:

An exception occured while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDL L "C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~!\System\MSMAPI\1033\MLCFG32.C PL",@0"

Help?

Sure, but it won't be this week.

If the problem is the connector and server version, how can I get a hold of older versions of the connector?

you can't mount the zdb the way you are trying. Instead rename the extension of the ZDB to 'pst' and in outlook do file->open->outlook data file. You can then access the data and do with it as you please.
