Zimbra QA created a network with roaming profiles with Windows 2003 enterprise server and Windows XP clients.

Logged in as a domain user with a roaming profile where the profile was saved on the 2003 server. Then, initial sync'ed an account using the 4.0.5 connector. Everything was ok.

Then, upgraded to the 4.5.1 connector (Not using GPO). Opened outlook and synced new changes. Everything was ok.

Is there anything particular about the roaming profiles that you used? My profile was the default Windows 2003 profile, with the only change to Properties -> Profile -> User Profile -> Profile path: set to "\\server\profiles\user". "\\server\profiles" was shared to all. "\\server\profiles\user" was owned by the user and shared to the user with full rights.

Does it work for you if you create new profile with 4.5.1?

Yes I actually fixed this problem on the PC. As I said in one of the earlier posts I can't remember exactly what I did but I think I made a new profile with a totally new name. Next PC I do a fresh install on i will make a note of what I did to fix it.
