Default Outlook calendar sharing to webmail/isync

I apologies if this has been posted else where, I couldn't find anything close to what I am having issues with.

We are currently using Zimbra network pro edition 4.0.5 in a mixed OS enviroment.

We have users using the outlook connector (which is working rather well) and other users using the iSync conduit 4.5.441 with iCal.

Shareing a calendar outlook to outlook works fine. Webmail to Webmail is working fine too. It seems Outlook to Webmail (or vice versa) and Outlook to iCal does not seem to work or the functionality just isn't there.

Is there a procedure to get this working (outlook to ical especially) and I was also wondering if the iSync conduit has changed much in 4.5?

Thanks

Can you elaborate on what doesn't work? For example, if you flag a message in outlook and sync, then view the message in the web client, it will appear flagged.

sorry i mean the adding of shared calendars from an outlook user to a user using iCal + iSync.
Zimbra support replied to my query, here it is below:

Hi David,

The shared calendar code has been temporarily removed from the iSync connector until we squash bugs associated with it. As a workaround, you can use iCal's calendar subscription feature to connect to a shared calendar as read only. I believe you can mount a calendar read/write using the Mozilla's Sunbird plug-in for Thunderbird. Sorry for the inconvenience. We'll get that code back in there as soon as we can.

Connecting to a published Zimbra calendar with iCal or Sunbird may require server version 4.5 if you are requiring authentication on the share. We fixed a bug in 4.5 pertaining to this. To connect to the share:

http://server.domain.com/home/grantor_userid/Calendar

If you are connecting to a share called "Office Calendar":

http://server.domain..com/home/grant...ice%20Calendar

Interesting reading on modifying share mount points and permissions from the CLI:

Let us know if you have any more questions.

Thank you,
I will need to look into this today.

unfortunatly iCal doesnt support subscribing to an https address
I may have to get people to use the web front end for calendaring. Using Sunbird is not really an option.
