Unhappy Contact sync from Outlook to Zimbra

I can't seem to get my Outlook contacts sync'ed with the Zimbra webclient. I can import as a CSV, but that's not a solution. I want to have them sync'ed everytime I change/create a contact in o ne of them.

Isn't that possible ?

What is Network Edition with ZCO?
That's something the administrator of the server should handle ,right?

ZCO is an Outlook Connector that is used in the Network Edition of Zimbra. If you have the Open Source version of Zimbra then ZCO isn't included, if you have the NE version then speak to your admin about it. Have a look at the product features comparison here.

I've written the administartor. He looks into that one.

One thing that really puzzles me is this:

I can create a contact in the zimbra client and it will appear in outlook.
I can create a contact in Outlook and it will appear in the Zimbra client.
Now, why on earth can't contacts imported into Outlook as .pst, be syncronized? Aren't the y treated as new entries?

Not even if I open one contact, change some of the stuff and then save, which should be the same as creating a new.
Is it Micro$oft who once again has made a solution more complicated than it need to be?

Have you raised this problem with your admin? How did you get the contacts into Outlook?

Yes I have raised it. And they're still investigating it.

As I said I imported them as a .pst in Outlook.

When you say "imported them as a .pst in Outlook", do you mean:

1. You used the import tool?
2. That you can see the contacts in outlook because you have it in a local .pst ("Personal Folders")?
