Zimbra 8 and Outlook for Mac 2011

Hello Mac user,

Lots of my customers/people I speak with are Mac users using Outlook for Mac 2011.
Zimbra doesn't seems to work on the bug Bug 38631 – Enable snow leopard messaging features, Outlook for Mac 2011 (2009).


I want to know if someone is using Zimbra 8 and Outlook for Mac 2011 and has been able to make MAPI works (calendars, contacts).
Any link to any useful information would be appreciated.

Zimbra is pushing the Web Client, I know. But the customer want Outlook nevertheless.
Zimbra Desktop is not an option (Users want their Outlook).

I am also very interested in this functionality! My clients are able to use "Exchange Activesync" profiles on their phones to connect to my zimbra server, but shouldn't they be able to use Outlook 2011 on their Macs also???
