Cool Duplicate calendar appointments in Outlook

Every time I create a calendar appointment in Outlook, a duplicate is created automatically after a few seconds.

Outlook 2003 SP2
Zimbra Outlook Connector v4.0.3.

It seems that there are a few bugs on this and related topics logged in Bugzilla, but it seems there is not resolution yet?

Thank you!

Yes but 10868 & 12134 are scheduled for the next major release of Zimbra due late December this year.

I get the same problem, I have updated to the latest 4.0.4 which fixed other issues but this seems to still be there.

I can reproduce this by creating a new calendar event and then right clicking that event and labeling it as important or business etc and then hit the "send & receive" button then there will be a duplicate of that event.

If you're talking about the three bugs above, it was confirmed they were fixed in the bug reports. If you think you still have this issue then report it in bugzilla or via tech support.

This should be fixed for all new items you recieve. Some existing items may still exhibit this behavior.

I have not tried 4.5 yet but 4.0.5 fixed my calendar duplication problems. Although the upgrade of the outlook connector did not work straight away as I had to uninstall the connector and do a clean install, then everything started working.

Can you elaborate on what didn't work? We haven't found any issues in our upgrading testing.

For some reason when I did a install of the connector the first time from 4.0.4 it must not have upgraded to 4.0.5 properly. The calendar duplication was fixed but the problem I had was when my AD password changed Outlook would crash instead of asking for my new password. I did a uninstall of the connector and did a clean install and it worked fine after that.
So i am not 100% sure what didn't upgrade but it is working now, I actually had a support case open for this #00007310 which I submitted the outlook connector log file if you want to look at it.
