After installation and configured profile, whenever I started outlook I saw error
"Cannot open your default e-mail folder. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service LSMSSP.DLL. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured." |

Did you also try a repair of the Outlook connector from the Add/Remove programs panel?

| | Sorry for my tone. Thanks anyway for reply. I am kind of shouting :-( because I was so disappointed. I really cannot use zimbra web for its font is so small and hard for me to see. But I had never been able to launch ZCO.
Yes I had tried:
- uninstall outlook2007 (32bit) ->2010(64bit) for my system is win2k8 64 bit
- setting two path (office\1033, common..\msmapi\1033) and repair
- did registry setting like "reg..."
- did uninstall/install ZCO or repair upon above path/registry settings.
But "LSMSSP.DLL. ..." message is always shown. Any new suggestion I would like to try. Very appreciated for your reply to my post. |

| | Well -- it's interesting that all those solutions didn't work for you. This generally indicates a bad MAPI installation. But if FIXMAPI, uninstalling, adding the correct directories to the path didn't work, then I suggest you enable ZCO logging (using ZCOLogCtl). Just enable logging and http logging, not verbose. Then go into Outlook again, repro the error, and post the logs.
Also, you might look in %TEMP%\zco-cores to see if there is a .dmp file -- maybe there was a crash, but I doubt it. |

| | I enabled logging but nothing was logged. I uninstall ZCO and re-install it, I found:
ZCO installed at:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
Nothing under:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033
Still got the same error. |

| | Sure sounds like you have a bad MAPI installation. So running FIXMAPI didn't work?
One more question -- do you or did you ever have Groupwise installed on the offending machine? That can cause problems because Windows NT also gets installed with Groupwise, and that creates issues. You would need to uninstall Windows NT Messaging and then reinstall ZCO.
If you have tried all this, and there is no other alternative, you might try doing a ZCO install with logging enabled. Maybe that will point to something. To run the installing under logging, do:
msiexec /i ZimbraOlkConnector-whatever.msi /l*v foo.log |

| | I don't have Groupwise installed.
I uninstall ZCO and install by command line:
msiexec ZimbraConnectorOLK_7.1.1.6324_x64.msi /l*v foo.log
However I got a msi dialog box instead of installing. |

| | Not sure what you mean -- you got msi dialog box instead of installing. Does that mean there was a syntax error? Perhaps you can post a screen shot.
Also, I was wondering if you EVER had Groupwise installed? (I know you said you don't have it now, but the Groupwise uninstall leaves NT Messaging around, I believe).
