Unhappy System Administrator Mail

Hello everyone,
I write because I have a problem with the ZCO version 6.0.60.58.8 (6.0.8_GA_2661 Server version) Outlook 2010 32Bit.

I installed the ZCO on all PCs, and some happen to be generated by the mail system administrator (not by Zimbra, but with Outlook) with this text:
------------------
Error: Unable to send the message.
Subject: Unread: <object message>
A: mail@xxxxxx.it

Note - There was an error message. Create a new message and resubmit it.
----------------

These emails are generated continuously and happened that was generated 9000 mail in 10 minutes.

I checked every setting in Outlook, Zimbra, the ZCO but I found no solution.

I attach a screen to be more clear.

Thanks for any help!

Carlo

That connector version is very old... Might want to consider upgrading... The latest version has much more Outlook 2010 support.

You mentioned that you upgraded to the latest version. Can you confirm what version of the Outlook connector and the Zimbra server you are using? I know we had a similar bug to this way back in version 6.0.5, but that has been long since fixed. Also, perhaps a ZCO log would help here.

Thanks

Hi,
the version is:

Client: 7.1.3.6348
Server: 7.1.3_GA_3374

Before I had the version 6 (see the first post) and the problem was on multiple machines, now the problem is only on a single PC.

I had thought of doing a full wipe of the connector and outlook, but first I wanted to know if it was easier and faster soulution.

thanks a lot!

I wonder if on this PC, the old version 6 ZCO never really got deleted? You might do a search for certain DLLs on that machine, like LSMSSP32.dll (or any .dll that starts with LSMS. Then right click on Properties and check the file versions. If they are still around, you should get rid of those files, but then you may need to "brute force" the registry to really get those old ones out of there. There is info in this forum about how to do that, but it's not for the feint of heart.
