Do I understand you correctly that you had to go to each users workstation to setup Outlook in order to share a calendar? We have 2000 people who could be using this. I know our small staff doesn't want to go to all 2000 machines to set this up. Is there an easier way?

How do Mac users share their calendar?

How can you share the calendar with people outside of your business?

How do you revoke someone's ability to see your calendar?

I'm having trouble getting the Outlook Connector to install properly and be able to share calendars on 4.0.4 Network Edition. The user has administrative rights on the local machine, but the registry key is not created during the install. I tried importing the registry key from a working computer, but that still did not fix it.

Wink Private message from Outlook

Hi,
Zimbra4.0 is working fine on the web interface. But i have some users who want to have private messages on their shared calenders. But i see that there is no private button in outlook when connected with zimbra connector.
Is there any ways of doing a private message in Outlook.

Thanks

If you are a paying network customer (and you must be since you are using ZCO), you can send mail to support@zimbra and tell them that you are interested in having this bug fixed:

http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6460

Support would then attach your account the bug. Same as voting on the bug, but having customer support case helps us track the issue better.

Egads, I hope there's more than one level of administrator, one with and one without. Being able to go and fix things for users explicitly, or add calendars or whatnot, that's one of the nicest features in the whole product.

* I second that and voted for 6460, IMHO it's really important that the user in a shared business environment only have to maintain one scheduler and can also mark items private. Make it also easier to convince the users to use it more.

* Mobile sync is then a different issue [private and different folders] I personally like intelysync (wired).
Maybe just a user setting in the GUI to enable private contacts, calenders or not to by synced by air to the owner.

Hope I wasn't to much of topic

Cheers
Christian
