Default Changing default folder names

Hi,

Is there a way to change the default folder names to set up
the same as in a Exchange Profile.

In french, incoming mailbox is named "Reception" , but the
"correct" name with Exchange is "Boite de reception".
(other folders as well).

Thank you for any hints.
PM.

Are you running a French language ZCO? Because we localize all these names, and the name we use for Inbox is Boite de reception. What version of ZCO are you running?

Hi,
We are running french Version of ZCO that is bundled with last version (7.1.2).
"Reception" is indeed french , but not the expected translation which
should be "Boite de reception".
Other folder as not correct as well.

Is there a way to change these folder names ?.

THank you.
PM.

There isn't a way for you to change them, but we should be using the correct names (like Boite de reception). Can you give me a list of your incorrect names, and I'll look into why yours are wrong?

Here are the current folder names with ZCO 7.1.2:

Boite d'envoi
Brouillons
Corbeille
Envoyé
Reception

Thank you.

There should be more than just the 5. And some look correct (like Brouillons and Corbeille). Which other ones are incorrect, and what should they be?

You will find attached a Doc file containing 2 pictures:
- First One: Typical french Outlook with Exchange Profile
- Second One: Typical french Outlook with ZCO.
You can see that, for example, that "Boite de reception" is renamed
"Reception".
Strangely, i've notice that it is the initial sync with Zimbra mailbox that
change folder names this way.

Thank you for your hints.
PM.

The localized folder names are chosen by our translators. I noticed that the French translation for Inbox used to be correct, it got broken, it got fixed again (bug 61968), and then got broken again (bug 62454). I am in the process of getting that changed back.

As for the other folders, you should file a bug for the names you prefer, and if it is determined that those are the right names, we will change them. I'm not sure why our translators choose certain names.

Ok, I've checked the mentionned bugs.
Is there a way to manually change theses names (or obtain a
beta ZCO 7.1.3 ?).
PM.

Checking on users changing names (not sure it can be done). I have filed bug 64500 on your behalf. We have reinstaed Boite de reception in 7.1.3.
