Default single message sending thousands of times

Hi All,

I have had a look in the forums, found this thread

Message sending multiple times

Im having basically this issue but instead of the message sitting in the outbox it goes to the sent items but instead of sending just once like intended it sends thousands of times ( see attachment ).
We can also see it in the zimbra.log, over and over again to the same recipient, so it may not be an outlook connector issue but an issue on the server but can't be sure as its only 1 windows 7 workstation running office 2010 with the latest outlook connector out of 12 others that dont have this issue.

We are running Release 7.1.1_GA_3196.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition

If anyone can assist with this issue would be greatly appreciated, the client is getting some very nasty phone calls when this happens.

Thanks in advance!

Nathan

Default Email Messages Sent Multiple Times

We have experienced the same issue on three separate ocassions involving two different users, both using ZCO 7.1.1 with ZCS 7.1.1_GA_3196 on RHEL5. One user indicated the message was stuck in the Outbox while Send/Receive seemed to be hung. Send/Receive was stopped and restarted and the message left the Outbox. The recipient received the email over 300 times. On another ocassion a recipient received the same email message over 1,600 times.

Default tac case

I have a tac case logged about this one, currently working through it with a support guru, hopefully he will be able to get to the bottom of it and if so I can share the solution to you.

Thanks, Matilda. We submitted a support case as well. So far, they have recommended deleting the zdb and idm files. They then recommended turning on non-verbose logging on the client. Will post any further updates/resolutions.

I have tried installed path 4 and patch 5 and also there is a new 7.1.2 connector version ( still in beta I think ). So far no runaway messages but it was only happening once every now and then not every day so will need to monitor it for a couple of weeks to know if something was fixed.

We installed 7.1.2 connector on one of the clients sending mass emails, but they had another occurrence of it happening after 7.1.2 was installed.

We're going to try the patches in test; however, this issue has now been listed as bug 64112.

Hello - Any updates/resolution to your issue? We are still experiencing the problem and working with support, but no luck so far.
