    Finally solved by reinstalling Windows, thank you.

    I'm pretty sure that's an access error when trying to read the registry setting...
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Outlook.Application\CurVer

    Has the installer got admin rights?

    In our case, the key was missing at all, so, no access rigths issue
    maybe this may help others
