Default Connector 7.1.1 Downloading email

The new connector will not download all email into outlook from the server.

Is this a known issue?

I do not see version 7.1.1 available for download. Can you confirm the version? I am using ZCO 7.1 and its working just fine against 6.0.8...

What version is your server?
as Zimbra user on the server run "zmcontrol -v" and paste it here and in your forum Profile.

"The new connector will not download all email into outlook from the server." is a fairly vague comment. Is there a crash? Does some mail get downloaded? Is it an initial sync or a delta sync? Is GAL sync on, and if so, does the GAL get downloaded?

Please provide more details, and a ZCO log if possible.

The user has a 5GB mailbox and when I had to recreate his mail, I noticed that it stopped syncing at 1GB. So I reverted back to 6.0.8 connector and just wanted to see if there was any known issues.

Well, it could be anything. Here are some possibilities:

1) There could be a crash. There were some GAL sync issues. Perhaps you could disable GAL sync and try that. See if everything syncs.

2) There could be a crash somewhere else. For both 1 and 2, a ZCO log file would help, although it will be quite big, and will slow performance down. [Make sure not to enable verbose]

3) If it's an initial sync, perhaps it's an error with the new zip formatter. You can go back to the old way by setting a registry key:

Go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZIMBRA

Make a new DWORD value called ZipLevel and set it to 99.

Maybe there is one message that is messing things up -- this might catch that.

You might look in the %TEMP%\zco-cores directory and see if there is a crash dump associated with this.
