ZDB Rebuild after major upgrade

I'm planning to upgrade a running Zimbra server form 6.x version to 7.

I also want to upgrade ZCO connector to latest version.

My customers has some very big shared mail folder ( 10GB+ )

So i've very big ZDB on user profile directory. After a major upgrade of zimbra and zco there will be a resync of zdb ?

Having big profile, resync time will be a major problem to me.

Upgrading ZCO from 6 to 7 shouldn't cause a complete resync.
