Exclamation [SOLVED] ZCS Outlook Connector 7.0.1.6307 crash on Windows 7, Outlook 2010 x64

Hello,

We have problem with Connector Windows7 x64, Office 2010 x64 bit installation. Same problem exist on Windows7 x64, Offices 2007 x32 bit. But on Windows7 x32 and Office [2007, 2011] x32 bit it's working.

We using Release 7.0.1_GA_3105.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 NETWORK edition.
And used connector from our server https://myserver.domain.com:7071/zim...1.6307_x64.msi

And try download connector version from support.zimbra.com site. Behavior the same. After enterin server name, user and password Outlook crash.

Crash log.

configuration wizard say that can not find server. But on x32 version it all OK.

Can somebody explain hoe to fix it manual, o we have to wait next version of connector?

Is there a core dump generated in %TEMP%\zco-cores? If so, please post it.

I do see where it is crashing, but I can't reproduce. I'm not sure of your exact scenario. So I assume this happens as part of the install? What happens if you don't try to configure a profile right away, and try it later?

It may have something to do with a proxy setting. Are you using a proxy?

There is also a bug out there, 57819. Take a look at the comments in there and see if this might resolve your issue for now. (i.e. starting ZCOLogCtl).

I experienced the same issue (bug 57819) and can confirm enabling ZCOLogCtl while creating the account in Outlook does remedy the situation.

For those wondering where to find ZCOLogCtl , it's
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033\ZCOLogCtl.exe

Work around is
Run ZCOLogCtl, enable logging then proceed to create your account. Once
created you may disable it if you please.

The GAL sync crash (bug 57864) is fixed in 7.1.0. You can get that version on the support portal. There is a signature issue still outstanding. What is the exact error when you try to sync signatures?
