Default Cannot see Shared Zimbra Calendars in Outlook 2007

Hi,

We are running Zimbra Collaboration suite as our server and looking to use Outlook 2007 as a mail client.

We have installed the Zimbra Outlook connector and whilst all other facilities seem to be working, we cannot see other staff shared calendars or our task list from within Outlook.

THese are all clearly visible in the Web Client.

We have reinstalled/repaired the Outlook Connector and this has not helped.

Can anybody help?

Regards,

Hi,

in the zco you have to manually mount the share.

This guide can help you:

Default I don't have the "Open a shared Calendar" Link

I'm running outlook 2007. I have already opened the user's mailbox, and she has definitely shared the calendar with me (I can access it easily from the web client.) I tried to follow the directions from the link you provided, but I don't see a link that says "Open a shared Calendar." I'm looking in Outlook under "Calendar." Am I missing something really obvious?

Read the paragraph titled: "To access contents that have been shared with you: " and follow those instructions.

I did do that, but it still won't show the calendar. It shows that I opened their mailbox in the folder view of the mail section of Outlook, but still no calendar

a) log on to web as the sharing user.. share calendar with other staff
b) log on to web as myself and accept the share.. It appears in web access no problems
c) go to my outlook and add the shared calender via "file, open, other users mailbox". it appears below mail as a share but when you go to calendars there is nothing there. Also other exisiting users are now seeing errors when trying to post to the calendar
"cannot open the free/busy information . Cannot locate the recurrance information for this appointment"

You could try closing that shared calendar in Outlook, leave Outlook, set ZCO logging, and opening the shared calendar again. Assuming you get the same error, then leave Outlook and post the log.

Perhaps there is some appointment that ZCO is having trouble with.

This had happened a long time ago in version 6.5 or so. What version of ZCO are you using?
