Got sorted on Friday. New licence. Odd this wasn't caught in upgrade testing, I'm glad I don't have a bigger install base right now.

Having the same problem. I wish sales/support would answer the phone so I could get my users back online. Argh!

My support request has been met with this response:
"It looks like the license is active, but the license shows that you do not have any MAPI license with you.

If you see the MAPI accounts limit mentioned in the license, it shows '0'.

Due to this no MAPI profile will work and hence the users using Outlook cannot sync with the server, they will have to use Zimbra Web Client to check there mails.

Have you purchased MAPI License? In case if you have purchased MAPI license, the license file that you got is not displaying proper information and so you will have to get a proper license file from the sales person."

Since when does Zimbra sell MAPI licenses? They supply components as part of the NE license then out of the blue customers find out "have you bought the license for that?".
Disappointing.

It's obvious that some people (like me) are not reading through the whole release notes document.

I usually scan the notes and miss small sections, which in the end is to my own peril.

The change apparently happened from 7.0, but I do not see any mention of this in 7.0 release notes.

Sean.

The bug comment says the change has been made to the 7.0.1 Release Notes and, I'm guessing, they haven't made it to the web site download page yet.

I was having this issue as well. Started digging in around licensing and found that while the license was installed, it was not yet activated. Go to Global Settings -> License and check that your license is activated.

I activated the license and the Outlook Connector began functioning properly.
