Local folder for e-mail storage

Can I create a local folder while using the outlook connector to store e-mail in, the same as what you can do with the Zimbra desktop client? My users don't want to use the Zimbra desktop client but they also need to delete their mail otherwise the mailboxes will become full and they will not receive mail anymore.

Just create a .pst in Outlook and file mail into it. I doubt the procedures are different from OL2003/2007/2010, but instead of trying to give a one-size-fits-all set of instructions, I'll just suggest you do a web search.
