ZCO, galsync and firstname lastname order

Hi all.

This might be somewhere but I did not find it (wiki, forum, bugzilla): we're using the galsync account to sync the (internal) GAL and allow it to be synched with ZCO.

However we have a problem : during the sync, the item are created in galsync' address book with "Firstname Lastname" (in this order).
Which is then synched with Outlook (still in this order), both in "full name" and "lastname" fields (instead of only the lastname in the lastname field).
So searching by (last)name in Outlook is not working.

Besides changing (manually, this is quite long and painfull) the display name in each user account, is there a way to reverse "Firstname Lastname" to "Lastname Firstname"?
IIRC there was a way to do it but I can't find it...

See bug 43730, particularly comments #3 and #4. This was done as of 6.0.8. Registry key to set is:

HKCU\Software\ZIMBRA\GalSort. Set it to 1 to do a FileAs

Note that in comment #4, we mention that you have to leave Outlook and come back for this to take effect.
