I have a user (XP Service Pack 3, Outlook 2010) who sometimes gets server failure notices when she is trying to edit a recurring meeting on another user's calendar. She has admin access to this calendar. This has occurred on several different calendars.
Server Failures were detected. No action is required.
This e-mail was generated for technical support purposes.
Please see the attached files for more details about the problems encountered.
So as the message said -- please see the attached files. The Server Failure message should have some attachments with it. They can give extra information about what is going on.
I've the same problem with calendar item. We are migrating the messaging from exchange to zimbra. Some users send meeting invitation from exchange to Zimbra users. When the meeting is updated by one user, sometime users under ZimbraConnector receive this message.
The most time I got this error : <SyncError><Request><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope"><soap:Header><context xmlns="urn:zimbra"><userAgent name="ZimbraConnectorForOutlook" version="6.0.5981.7"/><nonotify/><noqualify>..................................
At the end of error file, I got this : Caused by: org.dom4j.DocumentException: Error on line 124 of document : An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x14) was found in the element content of the document. Nested exception: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x14) was found in the element content of the document.

Maybe it will be fixed when all users wil be under Zimbra ?
Can I disabled this automated message by modifying this value in windows regitre ?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Zimbra\turnOffInboxFail to 1
6.0.5981.7 is a pretty old version. There was a bug (53379) that was fixed in 6.0.11. I would definitely upgrade. As for turning off the errors, the easier way is in the Outlook UI -- uncheck Errors to Inbox under the View menu item.
We don't generally support newer ZCOs with older servers, but generally a 6 ZCO will work with a 6 server. It's worth a try for you to upgrade to the latest ZCO (I think 6.0.12, as the particular bug was fixed in 6.0.11). Or you can just try 6.0.11.
As for why you can't upgrade, that seems to be another issue. What is the exact problem with the zimlet? Perhaps we can get past that and get you running later software.
Ok thanks for all theses answers. it's a specific zimlet for encrypt mail, etc. (for security medical aspects .... )
It's not validated after 6.0.7 Zimbra server. That's a good raison to approve the zimlet for the new version
