Shared address books and contacts

Am I right in thinking that the Outlook Connector doesn't yet support these?

I have users with shared address books and contacts; they're not showing up for the delegated users in Outlook, although they work fine through the web client.

what version of the connector are you using?

They wont show up automatically. The delegate must mount the mailbox in outlook by going to File->Open->Other Users Mailbox.

Yes -- that was it; needed to upgrade connector to latest version -- then File/Open Other User's Mailbox appeared.

I have problems sharing folders.

When I select Add.. on the Sharing tab and select a user, the GAL Dialog is closed, but no user is added to the list. When looking at the log, it seems that Zimbra cannot find the users (but should):

zcs-NETWORK-4.0.0_GA_303.RHEL4
ZimbraOlkConnector-4.0.0_GA_297_4.0.211

In Outlook 2003, I can show my contact folders as Outlook Address Books. However, when I try to do the same on another users shared contact folder, there is no Outlook Address Book tab.

Any help on this? Thanks

Just for the record, we solved our above problem by updating Outlook 2003 to SP2.
