    not being able to keep the mail on the server is enough reason not to choose for zimbra.
    There are a lot of outlook sync tools out there and most of them are not capable to keep the mail only on server so it would be an unique sellingpoint in my opinion

    the mailbox data on the server is replicated to the outlook client. the server mailbox and the copy on the outlook client are then kept in sync.
