| | I get this same error message.
Running Windows 7. Trying to re-install connector, remove it, or anything, and I get this error.
Tried all the items in this forum, none worked.
Any thoughts or ideas? |

That user also uses ZCB and I notice that the Facebook for Blackberry client as well as Blackberry Messenger 5.0 can add or populate obscure fields in the user's address book which also appear in Outlook.
For example if a user account that is connected via ZCB has BB Messenger 5.0, they can link a Blackberry Messenger IM contact to a Blackberry Contact. This populates a field for the user's "PIN" in the BB Contact list, which then syncs back to Outlook and appears in the Outlook contact under "Miscellaneous Fields" or "All Contact Fields" in "User Field1".
Could that be relevant ? |

| | I suppose it's possible, but I'm not sure. I'm wondering if it could be either:
1) Windows 7. Some of the people in this thread were running that. Is Centrex running Windows 7? 64-bit
2) Is it just one user? What is different about that user's machine? Is there some weird virus checking stuff on there? |

2) Just NAV 10, but even with it disabled the issue occurs. |

| | As of yet, we haven't certified with Windows 7 64-bit, so I'm not sure if that is the issue -- I assume it isn't. IIRC, the installer error was a forms issue. This was only happening to 1 user, right? So if virus checking is not an issue, are there any other actual Outlook plugins installed?
Still, the main thing is to see what's different about this particular user as opposed to any others. A sysinfo might help. |

| | I still think this is a problem with forms on this machine:
Action start 21:46:34: WelcomeForm.
Info 2898.For VsdDefaultUIFont.524F4245_5254_5341_4C45_534153783 400 textstyle, the system created a 'MS Sans Serif' font, in 0 character set, of 13 pixels height.
Info 2898.For VSI_MS_Sans_Serif16.0_1_0 textstyle, the system created a 'MS Sans Serif' font, in 0 character set, of 20 pixels height.
DEBUG: Error 2888: Executing the TextStyle view failed
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2888. The arguments are: TextStyle, ,
Maybe you need to define VsdDefaultUIFont.524F4245_5254_5341_4C45_534153783 400
Or maybe the registry on this machine is a little hosed, if you've done lots of uninstalls/reinstalls of various products with weird forms. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | Why Join?
