Upgrade ZCO on a Terminal Server

I'm trying to assist a client who would like to upgrade the connector on a Terminal Server, but I don't have much experience with that platform.

Is it just as simple as going into install mode and uninstalling the old version and installing the new one? Is there anything that has to be done per user or will the upgrade be invisible to them?

It should just work. I know there have been some issues in this area (sometimes sharing issues), but I think it should just work.
