Default ZCO fails to install Zimbra profile

Need some help here. New to Zimbra. Trying to get this email server set up. After customizing the ZimbraOlkConnector.msi file with the needed info. I run it and I get a message that it installed but that no Zimbra profile was created and to create that manually. If I have to create all the profiles manually there wont be any point of trying to customize this msi file. I didnt see any other postings in this forum on same issue. Any help.

Using ZimbraOlkConnector-6.0.7_GA_2470_6.0.5981.7.msi on XP with Outlook 2003. Have Win 7 Outlook 2007 and XP with Outlook 2007 in this network as well to be converted to Zimbra.

I assume you customized it correctly with the proper server name, port, and security setting (if applicable).

It's not that big a deal to create the profile manually, but obviously, it would be nice just to configure it with the install.

So you can try a couple of things:

1) Don't configure the .msi file and see if it creates a zimbra profile. It should create it, but you would be prompted when you first accessed it.

2) You can run the installer again under logging:

msiexec /i <name>.msi /l*v foo.log (or whatever log name you want)

Ok thanks, I will give that a try.
