Default Color disappears on calendar after a moment

Hello, this bug is actually quite a problem here at my office. Our executives - president, vice-president, COO, CTO, etc. have an assistant who manages all of their schedules through Outlook. He uses color coding for different tasks / events and now these items just drop their colors. It's a busy schedule across five calendars, so this problem has complicated the executive schedule management considerably. He was using Outlook 2003 and this started happened right after running the 6.0.7 connector. We moved him to a new machine with Outlook 2007 setup fresh - same problem.

Can you suggest any work-arounds at least for now. Is this issue being actively addressed? Any help with this would be appreciated.

We use 01.com as our email service provider.

This has never been supported for shared calendars. The tags will stay around, but if you close the shared calendar and re-open it again, the categories will be gone. Bug 5210, 30523, etc.

Default This simply isn't true

Colors on shared calendars actively worked and WAS supported up until very recently. I have never had any problems categorizing meetings on my supervisors shared calendar, but lately the category colors disappear within moments of applying them. This is extremely frustrating for someone who manages a calendar for someone who must attend an average of 10 meetings per day.

Categories (colors) on shared calendars were never really supported (they wouldn't sync to the server), but at least we wouldn't clear them. The reason they were being cleared is that something was syncing the appointment with the category (this couldn't be reproduced in house, but in some installations [obviously yours] the syncing would occur.

This has been fixed (bug 53240) in 6.0.10 (yet to be released). However, there is a version of ZCO 6.0.9 on our support portal where this bug is fixed. That version is available for download.
