If you can't find the string ZCS Connector for Outlook anywhere in the registry, then you don't have any leftover ZCO installs.

Since it appears the registry is clean, I would run the ZCO install again. Perhaps that will set up everything correctly, and the config will then show the "Other" choice.

Too bad you're not running 6.0.x. The install does a much better job with this.

That's what I'm saying though, is that with the registry completely cleaned, and the system rebooted, Zimbra Collaboration Server still shows in the "Other". I've tried numerous times to install and uninstall the ZCO.

I think it's hopeless....

I even went so far as to removed Office 2007 completely, reinstall, then install SP2, and then install 28 related Windows Updates. ZCS is still in "Other" without installing ZCO what so ever.

That's probably because your MAPISVC.inf file has those entries. You can try taking those out manually (anything with LSMS in there -- looks like your last 5 entries), then reinstall and see if that helps. They're probably pointing to GUIDs that have been removed.

If you used 6.0.x, I'm sure you wouldn't have these problems.

6.0.8 will be going in when it's released for sure! But I jsut wanted to post this incase anyone else ever has the issue.

I will remove those entries from the MAPISVC.inf file. Could I just remove/rename that file all together?

I would not remove the whole file. Just get rid of the entries and re-install. With 5.0.x, after that, you may have an issue with our addin not being there, and Zimbra menu items not showing up in Outlook. If you have that issue, you can execute these commands:

cd \Program Files\Common Files\system\MSMAPI\1033
regsvr32 /u /s LSMSSP32.dll
regsvr32 /u /s SharingAddin.dll
regsvr32 /u /s ShutdownAddin.dll
regsvr32 /s LSMSSP32.dll
regsvr32 /s SharingAddin.dll
regsvr32 /s ShutdownAddin.dll

Ok so I tried removing those LSMS entries from the MAPISVC.inf, and then reinstalling ZCO, and again I can't get passed the same spot as seen in my original screenshot
