Delivery Recipets in Release 6.0.4_GA_2038.UBUNTU8 UBUNTU8 NETWORK edition

Fellow Admins,

I have searched for this information but I have only gotten old or irevelent threads. If a thread already exists please point me in the right direction.

I am currently using Zimbra Release 6.0.4_GA_2038.UBUNTU8 UBUNTU8 NETWORK edition with Outlook 2007 and either the 5.0.16_GA_2921_5.0.2988.16 or 6.0.4_GA_2038_6.0.5797.4 version of the Oulook Connector and I am unable to get delivery confirmations\Receipts when I request them when composing an email in Outlook.

From what I have read Zimbra 6.x should support this, is there any way I can confirm this functionality is available and working on my system?

Fellow Admins,

I did some more testing and it seems the issue is with the Outlook connector and not the Zimbra server.

I set up Mozilla Thunderbird and used IMAP to access one of the accounts in question and sent an email requesting a DSN and I immediatley recieved the delivery recipet. So it appears the connector is either stripping out the DSN request or not adding it all.

Anyone else have this issue or a possible fix?

Just more testing.

I have downloaded and installed ZimbraOlkConnector-6.0.7_GA_2470_6.0.5981.7, the latest version, and I still do not get delivery reciepts.

Can anyone reading this thread please confirm they are getting a Delivery recipet using any version of the outlook connector?
